A former store worker has allegedly victimized his former workplace located at Mercedez Avenue at Bacolod City’s Libertad Market, Sunday morning.
Police identified the suspect as 20-year-old Aron Baldia, a resident of Purok Totong 3 in the city’s Barangay Felisa.
Based on information released by Police Station 6, Baldia was caught in the act of stealing several items at the second floor storage room of the establishment by his co-worker 21-year-old Rey Dulman.
Dulman immediately ran down to inform the store owner. Another employee tried to stop Baldia from getting away, however he was punched by the suspect as he was running out of the establishment.
The suspect carted away at least 68 rims of cigarettes, along with a brown bag containing cash and coins amounting to P4,000.
The store owner has already offered a P10,000 reward to anyone who can provide them information which will lead to the suspect’s arrest./DGB, WDJ
