A 40-year-old man was arrested following a drug buy-bust operation at his residence at Purok Mabuhay, Barangay Poblacion in Negros Occidental’s Toboso town.

Police Captain Paul Kenneth Magan, acting chief of the Toboso Police Station, said Paul Pahayhay was caught around 11:10 a.m. on Monday, July 5.

Officers of the station led by deputy police chief Lieutenant Rene Boy Eduardo and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 6 operatives seized three heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu including the buy-bust item valued at around P2,924; P300 in buy-bust money; and other drug paraphernalia.

Pahayhay is now detained in the lockup cell of the Toboso Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
