Charged with six counts of rape, the No. 1 most wanted person in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental was arrested around 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Barangay Antipolo in the province’s Pontevedra town.

Police identified the suspect as 29-year-old Carlos Baylon, a resident of Sitio Carolina, Barangay 2 in La Carlota City.

Officers of the La Carlota City Police Station arrested Baylon through the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Cyclamen Jison-Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 63 dated May 24, 2021.

The suspect was detained at the La Carlota City Police Station.

No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./WDJ
