The 2019 Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference is set to kick off next weekend, June 15, at San Juan Arena.
The Petron Blaze Spikers will be looking to defend their title; however, Blaze Spikers head coach Ceseal delos Santos acknowledged it will be a difficult task.
“I think it’s possible for us to be dethroned this conference,” he said during a recent Philippine Sportswriters Association forum. “All teams are strong and it’s really hard to tell if we can keep our place on top.”
“We can’t take this conference lightly,” the head coach added. “We have to work hard because other teams are also out to dethrone us.”
The other teams expected to participate in the competition include the Cignal HD Spikers, F2 Logistics Cargo Movers, Foton Tornadoes Blue Energy, Marinerang Pilipina, Generika-Ayala Lifesavers, Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, United Volleyball Club, and PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters./ASC, WDJ
