UST remains undefeated

The UST Growling Tigers maintained their unblemished slate in the 2019 PBA D-League following their recent 94-82 victory over the Go for Gold-CSB Scratchers at the Paco Arena in Manila.

Soulemane Chabi Yo led the win with 32 points, 25 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks; while Sherwin Concepcion added 13 points and 19 rebounds, and Negrense Mark Nonoy scored 10 markers.

The Tigers had a slow start before creating distance in the second period on inside hits by Chabi Yo and Concepcion, then building a 10-point advantage in the third.

The Blazers later went on a run midway in the fourth period and managed to come within five points before Tigers pulled away for good on shots from Nonoy and Chabi Yo.

Meanwhile, in Group B, CEU Scorpions also remained undefeated after beating Valencia City-San Sebastian Stags, 71-65./ASC, WDJ
