In light of President Rodrigo Duterte recently alleged five Bacolod City police officers, including Bacolod City Police Office director, Police Senior Superintendent Francisco Ebreo, of having links to illegal drugs, recently-appointed Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) Director, Police Senior Superintendent Romeo Baleros, discouraged the provincial police force from engaging in illegal activity.

He said law enforcement and other government agencies should be well aware of how strict the president is, especially to those involved with illegal drugs.

Baleros advised personnel to follow the directives of the president as he wants the provincial police force to be a “role model” for the public and solve the problem of illegal drugs in the country before Duterte’s term ends./DGB, WDJ
