PCG begins monitoring ports

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Negros Occidental has begun monitoring the number of passengers entering local ports ahead of the holiday season.
PCG-Bacolod Station commander, Lieutenant Commander Ludovico Librilla, said the PCG “Oplan: Byaheng Ayos Pasko 2018” was implemented Sunday morning and will run until January 5 of next year.
With the PCG on alert, Librilla said personnel are not allowed to take leave.
He added, PCG personnel were ordered to assist travelers, especially those heading to Panay, Manila, Cebu, and Bohol./DGB, WDJ
