Murcia resident hacked to death by brother

A man was hacked to death by his brother at Purok Nato in Barangay Canlandog, Murcia, Negros Occidental.
The victim was identified as 44-year-old Roberto Esparas, Jr. of the said residence.
Initial investigations revealed the victim and his 29-year-old brother, Joy Esparas, were drinking when an argument sparked between the two.
Reports said the older Esparas hit his brother with a drinking glass.
The younger Esparas eventually left, but later returned and hacked his brother.
The victim sustained multiple hack wounds and died on the spot.
As of press time, the suspect is currently detained in the custodial facility of Murcia Municipal Police Station./NC, WDJ
