The Philippine national football team, the Azkals, recently called up 10 Ceres-Negros FC players to join the roster of players set to face Malaysia in a friendly match on Wednesday, March 22, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
Among the standouts called up were Jeffrey Christiaens, Carli de Murga, Kevin Ingreso, Junior Muñoz, Manny Ott, OJ Porteria, Iain Ramsay, Martin Steuble, Luke Woodland, and Roland Müller.
The match serves as a tune-up in preparation for the third round of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, where the Azkals meet Nepal on March 28 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium./WDJ
