A construction worker was arrested after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu in a drug bust operation at Barangay 20 in Negros Occidental’s Victorias City on Thursday evening, June 11.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Remar,” a resident of Sitio Binanlutan in the village.
Police recovered from the suspect’s possession several plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing 10.1 grams with an estimated market value of P68,680, and marked money.
The suspect, who is considered a street-level individual, was under surveillance for almost a month before his arrest.
“Remar” is detained at the police custodial facility.
He is facing charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./MAP, WDJ
