From being a perennial cellar-dweller, the Nxled Chameleons have slowly emerged as one of the championship contenders in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).

In separate social media posts on Tuesday night, January 13, the Chameleons unveiled their initial recruits, led by Negrense Jonah Sabete, Ilonggas Abigail Maraño and Aduke Ogunsanya, as well as Djanel Cheng and Ranya Musa.

The Chameleons are positioning themselves as a more competitive side heading into the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, which is set to open on January 31.

Meanwhile, the Galeries Tower Highrisers also pressed on with their sweeping roster overhaul after confirming the acquisition of four more players ahead of the new conference.

The Highrisers announced on Tuesday the additions of spikers Jules Samonte and Gayle Pascual, along with setters Venice Puzon and Maji Mangulabnan, further reshaping a lineup that has undergone significant changes in the offseason.

With the latest signings, Galeries Tower has now brought in 14 new players following a major roster reset as the club looks to turn the page under a new coaching staff.

The quartet will suit up alongside earlier signings Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, Shola Alvarez, Erika Raagas, Camille Victoria, Lycha Ebon, and Erika Deloria as Galeries Tower prepares for the upcoming conference under new head coach Clarence Esteban./ASC, WDJ
