Negros Occidental will serve as host for the 26th edition of the University Games, slated for October 24 to 30.
The announcement was made on Unigames’ official social media page over the weekend.
“The long wait is over! The 26th edition of Unigames returns this October 2025 — get ready for the ultimate collegiate sports showdown!” Unigames said.
The hosting was formalized following a meeting between Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Lacson and Unigames officials.
The tournament is a national collegiate sports competition in the Philippines organized by Unigames, Incorporated.
Founded in 1996, it was first held at the University of St. La Salle, the founding host, in Bacolod City./ASC, WDJ
