Human remains, already in an advanced state of decomposition, were found in a roadside sugarcane field at Barangay Dulao in Negros Occidental’s Bago City yesterday morning.

According to Bago City police, the remains were discovered by a female resident.

Authorities have yet to identify the remains, although they described him to be around 30 years of age.

The victim’s cause of death is yet to be determined, police said.

A post-mortem examination of the remains has yet to be performed./DGB, WDJ
