The Negros Occidental provincial government will open two government facilities this January.

Provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said the new Land Transportation Office (LTO) building at Barangay Mansilingan’s Manayaosayao, will be opened next month.

The old LTO building, located on the city’s Cottage Road, will be converted into a multi-purpose building as a half-way house for watchers of patients at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital or an office of the Boy Scout of the Philippines, Diaz said.

“However, it may need a feasibility study,” he said.

Meanwhile, a trading post will be also be opened next month, and will serve as a “bagsakan” of the farmers’ organic produce./DGB, WDJ
