PDEA dismantles another Bacolod ‘drug den’

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Western Visayas has successfully dismantled another “drug den” in Bacolod City’s Barangay 33 on Thursday, February 24, resulting in the arrest of five people.

Authorities identified the arrested as Michael “Mike” Pango, the alleged maintainer of the drug den.

Also arrested were Carlos Salve, Jay-R Torres, Manuel Corral, and Marky Magallanes.

Based on information provided by PDEA-6, they seized several sachets of suspected shabu with a combined weight of 15 grams and valued at P102,000.

The five are presently facing charges for violating sections 5, 6, 7, 11, and 12 of the Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
