An alleged drunken fisherman died after his motorcycle crashed against a cargo truck at Sitio Burgos, Barangay Luna in Negros Occidental’s Toboso town on August 27.

Toboso Police Station chief, Police Captain Kenneth Magan, identified the victim as 31-year-old Junmar Mahilum, a resident of the village.

Police said the victim was reportedly drunk and a bottle of liquor was recovered near Mahilum’s motorcycle.

The truck driver, John Paul Apurado of the province’s Calatrava town, was placed under the custody of the Toboso Police Station./WDJ
