Bacolod City opens its fourth mall-based COVID-19 vaccination site in the city today to further expedite the inoculation of the city’s residents.
City Administrator Em Ang, executive director of the city’s Emergency Operations Center, said CityMall Goldenfield is open for categories A1 (healthcare workers/frontliners), A2 (senior citizens), A3 (persons with comorbidities), A4 (essential workers), and A5 (indigent population).
CityMall is the fourth mall in Bacolod to open its doors for vaccination after Ayala Malls Capitol Central, SMX Convention Center and Robinsons Place Bacolod.
Several of the city’s barangay gymnasiums and school clusters are also being used for inoculating the city’s residents.
Bacolod City registered a record number of 12,016 vaccinations in one day last Monday, July 26.
The city has also reminded that they have reverted to the no walk-in policy, thus those who are willing to get vaccinated must register online with the COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC) and wait for their schedule of vaccination./DGB, WDJ
