Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a two-storey building at the La Carlota City College (LCCC) Main Campus in La Carlota City on Thursday.

They were joined by Fourth District Board Member Jose Benito Alonso, La Carlota City Mayor Rex Jalandoon, LCCC President Dr. Luciano Magallanes, and Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa.

The P40-million structure is funded by the provincial government and is expected to be completed by next year.

Magallanes said they are thankful to the provincial government for helping them realize another school structure that will contribute a lot in delivering quality education to more students./WDJ
