After closing their inaugural Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup season with an 11-19 record, the team said they are set for a massive revamp ahead of the MPBL Mumbaki Cup, which is set to begin later this year.
“The Bacolod City team is rebuilding this offseason,” explained Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya. “Former professional players, some UAAP and NCAA standouts, and homegrown players will form part of the team.”
The team, which is coached by Vic Ycasiano, included Yankie Haruna, Jopher Custodio, Jerick Canada, Jess Mar Villahermosa, Simon Camacho, and Bacolodnon guard Nico Paolo Javelona on their roster last season./ASC, WDJ
