Due to ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus disease, or Covid-19, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry P. Treñas issued an executive order suspending non-essential entry into the city.
Non-essential entry includes those entering via ferry service or Roll-On/Roll-Off; along with those who are “immunocompromised,” or having an impaired immune system;
The order runs until April 14.
However, the order identifies essential entries as health workers, authorized government officials, those travelling for medical or humanitarian reasons, individuals providing basic services and public utilities, and returning residents who have been cleared of Covid-19.
In addition, there may also be others that must be defined, identified, or cleared by the accredited health authorities as “Covid-19 negative.”/WDJ
