The Department of Education (DepEd) recently issued a reminder that classes at public schools, from kindergarten to Grade 12, resume on Monday, January 6. In a social media post, the department noted, “Private school administrators have the discretion to schedule their own resumption of classes.”
The 2019-2020 academic year runs until April 3.
The official calendar was determined by DepEd Order No. 7, which was signed last April.
The entire school year consists of 203 days./WDJ
