A tricycle driver was arrested by police after his 5-year-old female passenger fell off from the vehicle around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Sitio Ma. Elena in Kabankalan City’s Barangay Tampalon.

Jun Mark Quilantang Villaflor, 30, married, of the said barangay, was driving city-bound when his passenger fell from the tricycle and became unconscious.

The victim was brought to the city’s Gomersendo Garcia Memorial Hospital but was declared dead-on-arrival by attending physician.

The driver is detained at Kabankalan City PNP for proper disposition./WDJ
