Aaron Black led the Quezon City Capitals with e triple-double in their recent 110-85 win over the Laguna Heroes in the ongoing Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup at the Navotas Sports Complex.
Black offered up 17 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two blocks, and a steal; while Clark Derige top-scored with 24 points; and Tonino Gonzaga and Ramon Mabayo each scored 17 markers.
In the other game, the GenSan Warriors beat the Marikina Shoemasters, 96-89.
Meanwhile, the earlier game between the Navotas Clutch and Rizal Crusaders was called off at halftime by MPBL Commissioner Kennneth Duremdes after the court was deemed dangerous.
Navotas was leading 56-39 when play was stopped. The game will proceed on the last day of the elimination round./ASC, WDJ
