In an effort to address several incidents of animal bites in the town, Cauayan Mayor John Rey Tabujara revealed the municipal government plans to construct two animal bite treatment centers.
The mayor said the local government has already allocated P1.5 million for the project, which are among his priority programs.
Tabujara said, for those seeking treatment, the first anti-rabies injection will be free while the three succeeding treatments will each cost P1,800
He added, the centers will be set up at the Cauayan District Hospital and Municipal Health Office, and will be exclusive for Cauayan residents./DGB, WDJ
