Search and rescue training underway in Sagay City

Sagay City Police Station and Philippine Army personnel, along with various barangay officials, are currently participating in a five-day water search and rescue training, which began last Monday and ends on Friday, June 21.

The Sagay City Police Station, in partnership with the Sagay City government and Philippine Coast Guard, is leading the event with acting Sagay City police chief, Police Major Antonio Benitez, Jr., saying the event seeks to provide participants with the necessary skills in water safety, rescue, and survival techniques.

A total of 72 participants joined the training./WDJ
