The Statements of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN) for members of the Negros Occidental Provincial Board are expected to be released today. Based on records from 2018, Provincial Board Member Pedro Zayco was recognized as the richest board member for three consecutive years.

According to Provincial Board secretary, Atty. Maki Angela Ascalon, the Provincial Human Resource Management Office reminded the provincial board members to submit their waiver, while they will release their respective SALN to the public.

Under the law, public officials are required to submit their SALN annually.

Anyone who fails to submit or falsifies information on the document could face a six-year suspension on a first offense and dismissal from service on the second and final offense./DGB, WDJ
