Seven Bacolod City barangays are expected to receive ambulances from the Department of Health (DOH).

According to Bacolod City lone district Rep. Greg Gasataya, who submitted a request to the department, Barangays Mansilingan, Handumanan, Felisa, Cabug, Punta Taytay, Tangub, and Banago will each receive a vehicle.

“We are hoping that these can improve our health services in the said barangays,” he said.

The congressman said his request prioritized barangays that were further away from the city center.
