Bones believed to be of a human being were recently discovered by treasure hunters while exploring the Cabaliwan Cave in Sipalay City’s Barangay Cayhangan.
Based on a statement by Jeff Jacosalem to Sipalay City police, he, along with two friends, were exploring the cave when they discovered several bones.
The group immediately gathered the bones and turned them over to police.
Following the discovery, cops also visited the area to see if there were more bones inside the cave.
Scene of the crime operatives are also conducting an investigation to determine if they are indeed from a human being./DGB, WDJ
