Following the Good Friday procession, which the Bacolod City Police Office estimated around 100,000 of the city’s Roman Catholic faithful in attendance, the Department of Public Services (DPS) immediately conducted a clean-up of the areas surrounding the Bacolod Public Plaza and San Sebastian Cathedral.

According to DPS public service foreman Edwin Amago, the city hired around 60 street cleaners, who were tasked with sweeping away the litter left by those who gathered for the event.

He added, DPS has conducted similar operations following the MassKara Festival and Bacolaodiat Festival street dance competitions./DGB, WDJ
