A high-value drug target was successfully nabbed by police Tuesday afternoon following a buy-bust operation at Purok Amor in Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City.

Police identified the arrested suspect as 23-year-old Sharnon Quimco, a resident of the said community and the third-most wanted drug suspect by Police Station 4 (PS4).

PS4 commander, Police Captain Rey Tolosa, Jr., said Quimco was the subject of a buy-bust operation last year but managed to elude capture.

He said Quimco was arrested after handing over one sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500.

Police recovered a total of eight sachets of suspected shabu, weighing five grams, and valued at P60,000.

Cops also seized two disposable lighters, a coin purse, and the P500 marked money.

Quimco faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at PS4./DGB, WDJ
