At least P250,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated late Thursday night during a buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station 3 (PS3) anti-drug operatives in Bacolod City’s Barangay Bata.

Police identified the suspect as Reggie Perez, a resident of Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2 in the said city.

PS3 commander, Police Chief Inspector Ruel Culanag, said they arrested Perez after he handed over one sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P500 from a police poseur buyer.

A search of the suspect yielded a total of 10 sachets of suspected shabu, a pouch, the P500 marked money, and P300 in suspected drug proceeds.

Perez is presently detained at PS3 on drug-related charges./DGB, WDJ
