Nights of Mardi Gras begins tonight

The Nights of Mardi Gras, a fantasy costume contest, begins tonight.

Around 40 entries are expected to participate in a parade running along San Juan and Gonzaga Streets. Two separate parades, each featuring 20 participants, will take place tonight and tomorrow night.

The top six from each night will qualify for the grand finals, which will take place on Friday, October 19, at the Bacolod City Government Center.

The winner will receive P10,000, with consolation prizes for all participants./WDJ
