Following a Probe Media Foundation, Inc. media training and fellowship program, which took place in Iloilo City, Executive Director Yasmin Mapua-Tang commended the city on its anti-smoking policies.

“We chose Iloilo City [for the program], especially, [since] this is a smoke-free city and because of its excellent work [with] the program,” she explained.

The group paid a courtesy visit on Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III as part of their culminating events.

“We are here now to really see what you are doing and what is happening [on] the ground,” Mapua-Tang added.

The mayor offered his appreciation for the selection of his city.

“Iloilo City is really bent on [being a smoke-free city] and, because of our campaign, we have been given [such] distinctions,” Espinosa said.

Meanwhile, Mapua-Tang also commented on the city’s cleanliness.

“We can really feel the clean air,” she said./WDJ
