Young Lions wins in Class A

Young Lions recently beat Shakey’s, 91-88, in Class A of the ongoing Fil-Sino Athletic Club Asia Brewery Invitational Cup 2018 at the Bacolod Tay Tung High School (BTTHS) Po Hang Gym.

The eventual winners went into the half with a narrow 51-50 lead, eventually drawing even in the third period. However, Dondon Delima led the team towards the latter end of the game, giving Young Lions the advantage.

Jay Alic led the victory with 19 points, followed by Rimor Taronas with 17, Bambam Gilbor – 14, and Ricky Despi – 12.

In the other games, POC beat Mexicali, 100-67, and Fyrfyter/Dobinsons beat Villamonte/Blitz, 90-76./JSG, WDJ
