The ongoing Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) at the Bacolod City Government Center has so far released over 2,800 business permits, according to Business Permits and Licensing Division head Stela Rose Rayos.
As of press time, Rayos said they have recorded around 14,000 business registrations, which is more than half of the 22,000 recorded throughout all of 2017.
The event, which is intended to provide faster and convenient business permit registration and renewal, was originally scheduled to end on January 20, but was extended to February 28 after the Bacolod City Sangguniang Panlungsod approved an extension of the application and business permit renewal deadline.
It was previously reported, following the close of BOSS, an inspection team will be deployed to check on commercial establishments across the city./NC, WDJ
