An estimated P6,825,618 worth of suspected shabu was seized following a joint buy-bust operation conducted by the San Carlos City Police Station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region VI (PDEA-6) at Sitio Juan-ong in Barangay Palampas, San Carlos City, late Tuesday evening.

Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) director, Police Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil, Jr., said 29-year-old Christian Unabia, a resident of the said barangay, was arrested after yielding 593.532 grams of suspected shabu, P24,960 worth of suspected drug money, drug paraphernalia, and P30,000 in marked money.

The suspect is currently detained at the San Carlos City Police Station and faces illegal drugs charges./DGB, WDJ
