The Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) will be sponsoring three awards for the Miss Iloilo Dinagyang 2018 pageant, including Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Ecotourism, Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Farm Tourism, and Miss Iloilo Dinagyang Faith-based Tourism.

The winners will each receive P10,000, a certificate, a bouquet of flowers, and a sash. In addition, they will each also receive P120,000 to fund sustainability programs and projects.

According to DOT-6 director, Atty. Helen Catalbas, the award are intended to “use this pageant as platform for us to further promote emerging tourism products.”

Coronation night is scheduled for Saturday, January 20, at the University of San Agustin gym, beginning at 6:00 p.m./WDJ
