Negros Occidental Provincial Board Member Salvador Escalante, Jr. filed the most ordinances and resolutions before the Provincial Board in 2017, with a total 549 resolutions and 23 ordinances.
Board Member Alain Gatuslao came in second with 207 resolutions and two ordinances, while Board Member Helen Zafra finished the year with 112 resolutions.
The legislative body passed a total 1,065 resolutions and 27 ordinances last year.
During his Provincial Board legislative report last July, Negros Occidental Vice Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson said 556 resolutions, six ordinances, and four appropriation ordinances were passed in the first half of 2017./DGB, WDJ
