According to the Capiz Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), 103 barangays throughout the province are still experiencing flooding as a result of Tropical Depression Agaton.

Capiz Governor Tony del Rosario earlier suspended classes across the province last Wednesday after it was reported 111 of the province’s 473 barangays were flooded as of Tuesdayafternoon.

Classes have since resumed.

Capiz PDRRMO head Esperidion Pelaez said the Office of the Civil Defense is currently conducting a rapid damage and needs analysis, alongside various municipal disaster risk reduction and management offices./PLL, WDJ
