A job order employee of the La Castellana municipal government tested positive for illegal drugs, following recent random drug testing.
The individual makes a total six municipal employees to test positive.
According to La Castellana Mayor Rhumyla Nicor Mangilimutan, “A total of 155 municipal workers and 22 police personnel of the La Castellana police station were subjected to random drug test.”
The town mayor said future job order employees would not be eligible for contract renewal if they test positive for illegal drugs.
Following previous drug testing, which took place in February, a casual employee and four regular personnel tested positive and have since resigned their positions./WDJ
