A 57-year-old woman was arrested by police after she was caught in the act of selling illegal drugs at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, Wednesday evening.
Police identified the suspect as Cecilia Malan, a resident of the said barangay.
Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said Malan was arrested after handing one elongated sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop, in exchange for P500.
A search yielded nine more medium-sized sachets of suspected shabu and suspected drug proceeds amounting to P550.
Malan is facing charges for possession and sale of illegal drugs and she is detained at PS2./WDJ
