Police Regional Office-6 (PRO-6) recently arrested 12 members of the Task Force Crusaders (TFC) after they attempted to conduct police operations in the town of Jordan, Guimaras.
Earlier this week, three men, identified as Loreto Rendon, Nelwin Teleran, and Alfredo Ticar, entered a private residence and fired their guns. They were later apprehended by responding members of the Jordan Municipal Police Station.
Angel Allado, Jr., Rommel Baniola, Larry Agrabiom, Jose Ausin, Juanito Magbanua, Refrain Flor, Eldy Flores, Rodolfo Andrade, and Ian Paclibar were later arrested after they showed up at the police station with knives and firearms.
They claimed to have been on a mission on behalf of the Office of the Solicitor General.
PRO-6 spokesperson, Police Superintendent Gilbert Gorero, vehemently expressed the men are not police officers.
“They are only supposed to give the PNP (Philippine National Police) information about the illegal drug trade, illegal gambling, and corruption,” he explained.
