In a battle of Cebuanos, Jess Rhey Waminal defeated Gerpaul Valero via unanimous decision at the “Bakbakan sa La Carlota,” which took place last week at the city’s Public Plaza Festival Park.
Meanwhile, in the undercard fights, Romel Renondo of Murcia defeated Jasper Cayno of Bohol via unanimous decision; while the bout between Lorenz Ladrada of Cagayan de Oro City and Lenmar Precillas of Mandaue City ended in a draw.
