A festival goer was nabbed by police after yielding several firearms at the main entrance of the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City, Sunday evening.
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Ronie Ramos, a resident of Barangay 3 in the said city.
Based on a report released by Police Station 7 (PS7), a cop belonging to the Negros Occidental Police Public Safety Company (NOPPSC) was frisking Ramos when they discovered an improvised 12-gauge shotgun and a 9mm pen gun hidden inside his clothing.
Cops immediately arrested Ramos and brought him to PS7.
The suspect is currently facing charges of illegal possession of firearms and ammunition./WDJ
