In a letter dated March 27, John Chiong, national deputy commander of Task Force Crusaders, requested Deputy Ombudsman for the Visayas Paul Elmer Clemente to probe the alleged inaction by members of the Land Transportation Office-Region VI (LTO-6).
He cited a January 16 report submitted by Regional Law Enforcement Service Deputy Chief, Atty. Gaudioso Geduspan II, to LTO-6 Director Roland Ramos with the results of investigations on several LTO-6 personnel.
The team found them liable of administrative and criminal charges, Chiong pointed out.
“It is already March 27 and Ramos has not acted on the recommendations,” he added.
“Obviously, [he is] giving more chances for more irregularities and anomalies.”
Chiong also sent the letter to LTO Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante./WDJ
