Five Bacolod City police officers have been suspended after they were caught violating the “No helmet, No travel” policy implemented in the city last week.
Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) head, Police Superintendent Luisito Acebuche, said their latest apprehension was last Monday.
Acebuche said some of the cops apprehended challenged traffic enforcers, saying they should not be apprehended because they are police officers.
He said the involved policemen face the required fines set by the city government and will be recommended to Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Director, Police Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky, for disciplinary action.
BTAO previously suspended four traffic enforcers for violating the said policy./WDJ
