Six arrested in Bacolod City drug raid, one eludes capture

A dance instructor and five other individuals were arrested after members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Police Station 2 (PS2) raided a suspected drug den at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, yesterday afternoon.
Police identified the main subject of the operation as 27-year-old Marnel Montaño, who managed to elude police, while the arrested were identified as Ashley John Oro, 20, a dance instructor; Eric Talahuron, 20; Alfie Orceo, 35; Arman Donguines, 53; Dodong Pardillo, 28; and Hermoso Feria, 22.
PS2 commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said they recovered two small and 14 elongated sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
He added, even though Montaño escaped, he and the other arrested individuals are facing criminal charges involving illegal drugs.
