Provincial TESDA boasts over 48,000 graduates in 2016

The Negros Occidental Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) considers 2016 “fruitful” after graduating 48,563 students, or 102.8 percent of their annual target.
The agency also noted 5,806 graduates took part in the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP), 1,901 in the Bottom-Up-Budgeting (BUB) Program, 828 qualified for Private Education Student Financial Assistance (PESFA), and 266 took part in the Special Training for Employment Program (STEP).
The TESDA Negros Occidental regional training center is located in Talisay City, while their provincial training centers are located in Cadiz City and Kabankalan City./WDJ
