A house was allegedly ransacked by burglars riding a sport utility vehicle (SUV) at Magdalene Ville, Phase 2, Barangay Mandalagan, last week.
In a report by Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, the victim, whose identity is being withheld, claimed she only knew of the incident yesterday, after she was informed by one of her neighbors.
Based on records from Police Station 4 (PS4), the victim of the robbery was in Sagay City, Negros Occidental, when the house was hit.
An investigation by police revealed the suspects gained entry by climbing the concrete wall and destroying the grills and glass windows of the house.
The thieves carted away an oven toaster, refrigerator, two stand fans, an airconditioning unit, a broken-down washing machine, a half sack of rice, bags, a burner, gas tank, table, mobile phones, and shoes.
The overall take was estimated to be around P48,350.
The victim also said her neighbor reported seeing a blue Mitsubishi Pajero returning back and forth during the incident./WDJ
