According to the Negros Occidental Provincial Health Office (PHO), over 500 residents of Cauayan sought treatment during a medical/dental outreach program, yesterday at the Barangay Inayawan covered court in the said municipality.
Beneficiaries received free medical consultation, tooth extractions, and were provided with free medicine and food supplements.
Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. and Cauayan Mayor John Rey Tabujara both made appearance at the event.
Also present were Provincial Engineer, Engr. Ernie Mapa; Provincial Veterinarian, Dr. Renante Decena; and Merceditas Montilla, among others./WDJ
